Sensible Clothes - most sensible clothes isn\'t really that sensible. I work in a warehouse and am forced to wear buisness casual clothes. I\'ve yet to find a pare of sensible pants that will last more then a month in this environment, I highly doubt my Dockers would last two days of post apocalypic warfare. Leather is one of the most durable items to use for clothes. Plus you know we will all be riding around on souped up bikes, trikes and buggies and leather just goes with that look, since you don\'t want to slide across concrete in cargo pants.

As an aside - quit buying Levi\'s and start buying Dickies - the business casual look which wears like denim.

And I dont know about you lot, but I\'m not roaming around the desert dressed like the Humongus - sand chafes like a mother.

Denim till the Blue Jeans run out, then leather for this boy.

Oh, and I know how to make both guns and gunpowder - Join the Steelcult for Post-Apoclyptic King movement and learn more!!!lol

:rolleyes:don’t know about making high tech weapons like guns and gunpowder, but I can cook, know canning, making soap, first aid and making everything needed to print books.... so all the gay guys and me are going to go live with Steelcult..... any man that can stand 120 degree heat and paint in a sandstorm has got to be leader material!

Interesting fact that could be relevant...

Researchers report that tests on laboratory mice studied in experiments involving long-term radiation exposure illicit some interesting and reproducible effects on mice. Social grooming practices change from delousing to a \'shaving\' type behavior, often resulting in a mohawk-esk type of crest.

Additionally, the mice will frequently hunt frogs, skinks, newts and the like and skin them to make jackets. They leave the little frog fingers on and all.

Frogskin mouse mittens... creepy.

Never seen those, they may not sell them in Canada. I actually wear the Mark\'s Work Warehouse brand: Denver Hayes. I just noted Dockers since pretty much everyone knows what those are. They also do last longer then a month, but still not nearly long enough.

So that I am at least somewhat back on topic: what I actually find hard to belive in most post-apocalypic movies, especially with current events, is the fact that they all have gas and that\'s not what they are fighting over.

Dockers, for me, last only 4 days. I bought two pairs, wore one. They literally
fell apart on me, starting with the pockets.

As to this question thing...

I got nothin\'. Everyone else has already been funnier than I can think of.

Hmm - Dickies not available in Canada. Interesting. They\'re fairly all present here in the states -

I know you guys can get Carharts up there - I\'ve seen Mike Holmes wearing them - they\'re like an upscale version of Dickies.

I can answer the mohawk one. Shaving all your hair off would solve several personal hygene problems as 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner has become a valuable source of ammunition (see the film evolution). However, the restriction on movement caused by huge leather shoulderpads rivetted to your stylish leather stormcoat would prevent you getting your arms up high enough to reach the middle of your head with the razor.

Simple.
brilliant!

not sure about that. if he shoots the dude who can grow his food, he\'s still gonna starve!
