Brass/Copper NMM

Hi!
What colours would you use to do brass or copper NMM? I know how to do gold (snakebite leather/bubonic brown/skull white), but copper? I guess it would be more reddish. Do you know any GW paint that would work?

Now this is a tough one. I figured this thing out recently and it turned out really well (don\'t ask me to show a pic because I won\'t anyway :p). I can\'t remember for sure which colours I used but I think it was scorched brown + dark flesh + skull white. And some greens for the worn-out look.

I usually use dark flesh highlighted with vermin, and then white gradually mixed into the vermin. This is usually washed with a greeny-blue mix.

EDIT: I meant \"vermin brown\", not actual vermin, for obvious reasons. :D

I just did some copper on my Nightwretch, using Theirry\'s recipe, and it came out really close (I didn\'t have quite the same brown).

I used a base of Vallejo Flat Brown (984) and built up highlights by progressively adding Vallejo BasVallejo Basic Skin Tone (815). Thierry\'s recipe is to use Vallejo Red Leather (818) and build up to Basic Skin Tone.

I haven\'t tried his recipe for bronze, but it\'s probably spot-on: Vallejo Game Color Beasty Brown, Vallejo Ochre Maroon, Vallejo Dark Flesh, and finally Vallejo Ivory.

Cerridwyn1st has put together a list of all of Thierry\'s color recipes: http://wolfbar.org/cerridwyn1st/Thierry\'spaintchart.htm

I used Dark Yellow on my warriors of blood, but I used Pale Green in my mix for highlights and mixed in Chocolate Brown for shadows.. It may look too green if put against a blueish color.

For copper, I still like Salmon Rose, white and Calvary Red. Hope this helps!
