OK people, I\'ve been busy - another new mini up on CMON!! I would greatly appreciate some comments on this guys, as he was sculpted by a friend of mine (mike, for any of you who have seen my website), and painted by me! I think he is one of my best works yet and hope you do too!

As I\'ve recently discussed elsewhere how I hate leaving comments that are just gushing & laudatory, I\'ll leave my comments here instead of on the miini lol

It\'s a shame that it\'s just a \"one off\" as this would be an excellent mini to own. The sculpting is very nice and your paiint job is equally so. Which of you is responsible for the base? That, too, is nicely done and helps balance out the figure well. As does the pet dog. All in all, an excellent piece!

Now, just as an aside: I had a Bretonnian on my foot once, too. Very painful. Had to have it surgically removed :bouncy:

...but avicenna...is this a new model or an old one? never seem to see this before and i had been collecting bretonnians for a while (maybe not that long)

My mate (and painting guru) Mike sculpted it... so its new... and made of greenstuff :)

...really...professionally done...he ever thought of earning small bucks for it?

PS: your manufacturer on the mini was GW, hence the misunderstanding. :)

this rocks....

I love what you have done here. The fact that he is slightly overweight somehow just lends crediblity to his look. He just looks genuine, and that is something that is lacking in many sculpts.

Congratulations on a well done paint job, and a very character filled mini.

Very impressive, I\'m not usually a fan of Breattonians, beacuse I think they often look too gaudy. But you\'ve managed to avoid that with this guy by using more subdued colours, and only putting them on small areas.
