thats cool, never seen anyone save the face for last on a bust before looks nice so far

I like this bust and what you have done so far. I have a friend who also saves the face for last, he says it keeps him from getting bored with the figure because he has painting the face to look forward to.

It's going good. I trick for the helmet (since it was done in steel) that was given to me by an old expert historical miniature painter, put some pencil grafite on your fingure, and rub the helmet. you gonna get a very good result in achiving a steel effect without being very flashy. Try it on something else firts.
