Hi everybody,

last week-end our painting club organised our 4th edition painting contest \"Open de Bretagne de la Figurine\", near Nantes in France.
There are 512 miniatures (fantaisy, historical) in competition in 6 categories:
Juniors (-16 years)
Beguinners
Confimed painting
Confirmed creation/transformation
Masters painting
Masters creation/transformation

About 850 others miniatures were exposed.
The invite honnor was Allan Carrasco.

Can\'t believe I missed this entirely!

My parents live in Mellionnec which is only about 2 hours away... definately going to next years!

I missed this thread.....

I was speaking today to an English guy who had travelled to France and attended this show....

He couldn\'t speak more highly of a great weekend and superb hospitality and so many figures.....both fantasy and historical!!

Well the French sure know how to do a good show!

Yes 2 people from England have taken part to this contest. They came from Lowestoft (Suffolk). One of them won a bronze medal in the confirmed painting category. :beer:

Hey Yes! That\'s Mark from Lowestoft.....I\'m from there originally......moved since, but I heard it was a superb weekend
