Bronze NMM

Yesterday, I tried to do bronze NMM for the first time. I used GW bestial brown as a base coat, vermin fur (a red brown)as 2nd color an hilighted GW leprous brown. :flame: It doesn\'t work, the result look like a weird kind of gold, or tan leather. It is missing the light effect like the close to withe grey do for steel or the almost lemon yellow do for gold, any idea would be welcome, Thanks

bronze has green and a touch of blue in it as it is a mixture of copper with tin or some other elements like zinc. The color will be more orange than red, with a green tint. The highlight should have white mixed in.

oxidized bronze has a color sort of like light mint (green+white+a touch of blue).

A good reference for (non-oxidized) metal colors are webpages selling plumbing fittings or doorknobs.

Look at statues for oxidized bronze, and pennies for oxidized copper.

hope it helps.
