Brush purchase

I've been looking for superior quality brushes, but I have one problem: I have fat fingers. I need a set of brushes with thick handles but still top quality and available at many craft stores in the US. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Superior quality and readily available might be a tall order. Best ones out there are Rapheal, W&N series 7, Divinci and I recently tried out a few Escoda that were nice too. Thing is they aren't sold at all craft stores. I suppose that is why so many order from Blick's. If you really need to you can wrap the handles of the smaller brushes with some high friction guard tape like this: http://www.leevalley.com/en/wood/page.aspx?p=31213&cat=1,130,43332

to get the right thickness for your grip. It sticks to itself, is reusable and very grippy.

Hope that is somewhat helpful :)

Thanks for the response...the tape is a brilliant idea! I appreciate the other suggestions as well. I'll see what I can find based on my local stores.
