Always licked, sucked and enjoyed.

I honestly couldn\'t imagine painting without doing it. Licking the brush gives you so much more control of the point, load of the brush etc etc.

All you non lickers....... bah........ stick it in!!!!!

If it means being able to paint like Anders and Eric, heck, even I might sample a little paint while it\'s still on the brush...

Obviously, it can\'t be bad!
like Anders and Eric... can\'t be bad... lol

I used to lick all the time. I\'m much cleaner now. I only lick when I need a really sharp point.

that just sounds wrong somehow

I hope Highbulp reads this. the quote wars go on!
but i don\'t lick my brushes. i use a tissue and stroke it through and rotate the brush.
I\'m starting to get converted over to brushlicking... if it helps keep a point i might be a convert.

And if it helps to blend and be a better painter... DONE!
i\'m going to try it this afternoon.

And since this has gone bad already, one might add (in the name of getting moist for you painting, of cause) - less hair more licking

I like hair. You finish the first stage faster.

But I only like natural hair. I hate synthetics. But I have found a use for synthetics; dry brushing. I don\'t mind wrecking a brush when it’s synthetic.

Please guys, it\'s bad enough pointing brushes in the mouth after rinsing but don\'t put one with paint on it in your mouth for goodness sakes!

I want all of you to be around in good health (well, most of you lol) to talk about mini painting and what not for many years to come and actively giving a route for pigments to enter your body isn\'t the best way to achieve that. And it\'s not just pigments you have to worry about, some of the paints we use could have formaldehyde or mercury-based anti-microbial agents in them!
