I got bored this morning so whipped out the plasticard and GS to make the icon on the top. That will probably be the last time I ever cut out one of those crosses. Oi.

Can\'t see it on the model itself - but looking at the photos I see some sanding I may go in and do in my final touch-up.

The first thing that caught my eye is the rough area on the top. It seems to me that there was something there already that you just covered up. Definately some sanding for the rough area.

Also, I think you could use a little bit more highlighting on the black. The black right now seems a little flat. You highlighted some areas, but no others.

Overall, looking very good. Post up any new updates.

The top has little or no highlights on the black, and maybe paint the hinges silver or grey, just to break it up a bit.

Id have to concur. Some more highlights and clean up the top of the mini as it really stands out. If you cant I would do some GS scrollwork or something to hide it. Nice job on the icon.
