bugs in my paint...

so summer has started over in the part of the globe i reside in, and with it have come the bugs in their thousands
i am not the biggest fan of sandflies, mosquitos, and their ilk, as my blood is really tasty to them, but lately they've been getting into my paint, and causing a lot of distress and botched minis.
as soon as i turn on my lamp the come and fly around (distracting me from painting), and then go and land on my palette (doesn't matter if it's a wet palette or not) then promptly get stuck in the paint on there. i often end up with wings, bodies, and legs in the paint and the water cup i am trying to use.
normal fly spry doesn't work, as they're back again in 5 minutes, and i've also tried sealing up my windows with tape etc. and they still find a way in. it has gotten so bad that i can't paint in the evenings/night anymore, which is usually the only time i can paint. moving to a different area won't help either because the one place that is bug free is the place i'm not allowed to paint in.
is there a solution to my dilema? is there something i can get that will keep them at bay while i paint? i really want to be able to paint again without my minis getting covered in deceased insect and constantly having to correct strokes because the blasted things keep flying into my eyes.

How about one of these then? You might be able to hang it vertically or put 2 together to create a kind of Tent you can put your whole Workstation into... Bugs stay out.... :)... Please post pictures if you do, it would be amazing! ^-^...

For wasps/hornets an old scout leader trick was to leave a jar of strawberry jam open 20 feet away from where we were camped.
Drew the little bastards away from us, wasps that is, scouts we were lumbered with.
