Building a thunderhawk - offers

I want to build a thunderhawk for my army, and I dont want to pay the top dollar for the forge world one, so, a cunning plan came to me last night.

If I buy one, and send it to someone with killer uber plasticard skills, get them to build me a second one, and send the two in pieces to me for assembly.

All paid for of course, plus me buying materials.

Anyone keen for a challenge?

I probably should have mentioned I want two.

You\'re not going to be satisfied until you have the entire chapter are you? I don\'t have good plasticard skills so I can\'t help you there, I\'m afraid.

How about buying a load of epic ones and then zapping them with a re-bigulator?

Of course you\'d have to actually invent a re-bigulator but hey no plan is perfect

Surely, a re-bigulator would make things bigger than had already been zapped by an \"unbigulator\" ... ?

For epic scale stuff - which starts OUT small, surely you\'d just want a normal, common-or-garden, off-the-shelf BIGULATOR?

The epic models had crossed my mind, especially as seeing as flyer only really crosses the battlefield, and flys off again, and I have a few mates who have used epic scale flyers, or the nice new forge world ones, just to represent them.

After all, isnt this whole world of miniatures just a representation of something?

GW officially stated in White Dwarf that they did in fact employ a debigulator when designing the epic models lol:drunk::drunk:

And if GW said it, it must be true!!

I might just grab a couple of the forge world epic ones, and just use them as nice little things on the side of the battle field like. or as markers for airborne ones, allows me to field more if I play big battles of apocalypse.

The FW epic ones are a bit bigger than the fanatic version if memory serves so they make good tokens for use in games but they don\'t have the big meaty display presence that a 40k scale one would.
