Death toll sores

\"Satellite images released by the US space agency, Nasa, showed virtually the entire coastal plain of the country under water, destroyed roads, downed power lines and flattened houses.\"

First I heard about it they spoke about hundreds maybe thousands, then I heard 2000.. now it\'s 20000. It feels a bit like the Tsunami reports. Awful is the right word.

That\'s terrible! D\':
I heard on the news that there was 10000 deaths in one city.. That\'s insane :(
Is this worse than the tsunami? I\'m not too sure how many deaths there was in Sri Lanka :s

There were somewhere around 225000-300000 people that died in that catastrophe. So no I don\'t think it will be, it is more regionally concentrated as well.

Natures\'s one scary mofo.

I work at an internship with a community of children and their families who are from this area. Lately it\'s been pretty rough working with the; I feel terrible for all of them because they all have family in the areas that were hit. They only came to my area about two months ago, so they were there just recently.

Let\'s keep them in our prayers.
