Young Miniatures have a good few and there\'s also JMD, Ademola22, PiLiPiLi, Elite, El Greco, La Meridiana and last but not least, Pegaso.

One good way of finding out a few more names would be to do a search in the News forum on pF for the word bust, it\'ll give you a lot of the companies that have released one or more lately.

Many of the threads from the last year or so should still have the pics up and they\'ll have links to the manufacturer\'s websites in most cases, although you\'ll often get better prices not ordering directly. I\'d recommend SKMiniatures.co.uk if they stock what you want.

It depends on what subject matter you are interested in, Einion had pointed out some excellent selection for historical, and some offbit pieces like JMD\'s.

If you are looking for WW2 busts, take a look at Young Miniatures. They also do some \"historical\" piece base on movies.

If you are more into fantasy stuffs, check out Yedharro (spelling?). I have all 3 of the mini zodiac busts. Their qualities are top notch.

I am a big fan of medieval type minis so I guess those would be the busts that I would be most likely to enjoy painting.

Thanks everyone for the help. When I did a search I could not find any busts that I liked. I will siv through the ones mentioned and see what I like.

some of the jmd stuff is nice and a bit mad! although some are quite small

there\'s a spanish company that do some nice ones but i don\'t have the info at work, will try to remember to post at home

mig do a cool tank commander

go to netmerchants.co.uk and search for bust, they have a massive range and although p+p may stop you form ordering form them, you can look at the selection and try to source them elsewhere

Just a word of caution about that (and Andrea in general) is in order - buyers have seen some major problems with quality control and that bust is one of the ones that brought the issue to light recently* with the main body casting being truly awful. So buy carefully!

*Although previously they didn\'t have the best record either.

Young miniatures have tempted me a few times:

http://www.young-miniatures.com/English/News-English.htm

Andrea, Pegaso, JMD all do various excellent offerings. I\'ll also echo some of the Andrea casting issues

I could quite happily paint half of these though:

BTW, Young miniatures are known for their excellent castings :D

In that case, how about this one from Young:

Wow the Young Miniatures are amazing! I like the warrior for hire, teutonic knight, and the roman legionarius.
