Well...I suppose there are worse things...but yesterday I broke down and bought myself a pair of 'magnifying' readers glasses.

I was really having trouble focusing on miniatures when painting. This has really helped.

What a drag it is, getting old.

Hey we gotta work with our limitations. The alternative is to be the equivalent of that old Victorian aunt refusing to use her ear trumpet and bellowing all the time. It'll probably help your painting if they actually magnify a bit as well as sharpen your focus!

I blame computers. I didn't need glasses until I was 30. Then only because my arms got too short and my desk wasn't deep enough to set my monitor back.
