Does anyone have any advice on the difference between a long handle and a short one?

How long is short? :smirk:

The short-handle ones that I have from Rosemary's are about 5 inches from the bottom of the ferrule; about 6 1/2 inches from tip to the end. Seems long enough to me.

Normally I'd prefer 1 great brush to 2 good brushes, but I thought I'd spread the risk of getting a dud. I'll test them when they arrive and report.
