Titanium dioxide will never get any whiter, but it can be dulled by a crappy translucent medium.

I agree..nothing better than GW Skull white.. I mix it with everything.

Though liquitex white in the bottle is quite nice too.

Tube of titanium white and a bottle of white ink covers all my white needs (but then I\'m sure everyone knows that already) lol
