Gren/gold combination sounds good, but be carefull of using to much blue and red additionally...

In a green/gold kombination I would tend to paint the mask in a dark wethered Gold, so it has more contrast to the skin.

AHHH i cant decide!!!! i have got a practice head that i used to get the sculpt right, i could test the colors on that one first, il trhink il try gold first as it may look real nice. if it looks bad il test the bone!

Go for a quick Gimp/Ps colour mockup! It doesn't have to be fancy, just to get a more physical approach to it

i like it...

the metal stands out from the flesh more than bone would...
metals also say "futuristic" to me, more than bone...

keep up the good work...

cheers

looks like the terminator ^_^

white would be great(like the white skull on the shoulderpad) but probably a challange to make the white look good.the white would need a special "touch" to make it stand out and give a good contrast to the face

i have undercoated the face with 70% Tallarn Flesh 30% Dwarf Flesh, i have used it in thin layers and i have left the white undercoat coming through on the areas i want the lightest, even on this first step to help the overall contrast.
This is the first time i have tryed this technique so lets see how it goes.

looking good ^_^

let the undercoat shine through is a preety neat idea i have to say.

ive seen a tutorial on faces that has a very dark purple after the first layer of tallarn flesh.around 50& of the face(darkest areas) were purple and then highlighted to a "normal" skin tone.pretty decent on an ultramarine.

any plans for the teeth already?bleached white or some sort of toned down natural white-ish?

I have finnished the skin, i may touch it up a little more after i have painted the mask :) . The last 2 pictures were taken outside in natural light wich shows what it looks like better. i will leave the teeth and eye's untill i have finnished the mask
