How can I improve my painting skills? I was suprised when the votes started flowing in because so far my score is .2 lower than my single Cadian, who in my opinion I painted much worse than this, and didn\'t have anything on the base.

Hmm overall it\'s actually a pretty nice little piece. It\'s certainly quite neat which counts for a lot in my books.

In my opinion the area that needs the most work is the faces. There is no deffinition to them at all at the moment. No shading in the cheeks, no lining around the eyes...

Dark lining would really add a level of improvment to the piece overall, and more highlighting shading on each model in general, faces especially would really help.

In my opinion it\'s scoring a little low at the moment. It\'s certainly and accpetable tabletop piece.

I would just thin my paints more if i was you, and give stronger highlights, but not to strong

Its really a 5-5.5 piece. You need to do more with shadeing and highlights to get above those numbers.

I agree with the comments on the face. Black lining (or dark lining) to put a boarder between the face and helmet would be good. A bit of shadow in the cheeks and eyes as well.
