You know, I was just reading this really interesting thread by Freakinacage just the other day. I think you would find it most informative.

Do you feel better now? ;)

Hi Vincenti

You\'ve got a 7-page thread on our French forum Creafigs if you want to have a look at it ;)
http://www.creafigs.com/forums.php?m=posts&q=7175&d=0

A lot of blurry pics, some comments, the results and loads of french words :D

There were about 350 entries, the ambience was great, friendly, no tough (I mean, \"misplaced\") competition as everyone was showing all kind of minis with the \"Open\" system.
\"Who won\"? Well everybody did actually, and especially the hobby!

Ravage will produce a special edition with all the pictures of the minis by the end of this year.

So if you feel like browsing 7 pages, you\'re warmly welcome on Creafigs ;)

See you

Mathieu

And just what is that supposed to mean? Charming to say the least :flame:.

@OrkyDave : If I\'m not mistaken, it\'s a Werner sculpt. You\'ll have to look in the Freebooter or Reaper catalogs.

@Sanjay : It\'s an Ilyad mini.

For those who don\'t speak French, Google has a \'translate this page\' option. I find it mightily helpful!:)

How many issues of the Ravage magazine are there now by the way? I have the first two but have been out of the game for a while...

There are now 4 spécial édition Ravage magazines out :

N°1 : The \"French Touch\"
N°2 : The \"International Scene\"
N°3 : Making game terrains (has great tips on resin mould making)
N°4 : Scenarios, campagnes, game helps

They\'re all here :

Is the Ravage mags and quarterlies in English or will I have to find myself a girlfriend that can speak French as well as have an interest in the hobby to read them to me???

Thanks :D

I don\'t mind looking at pictures :D it is nice though if you are going to shell out for a magazine/quarterly to be able to read parts of it :D

At one point, they were talking about translating them, maybe for the next ones ;).

Most of the print is more about presenting the artist than about how they achieve such and such technic. But the pics are big and of high quality.

I have specials 1 and 2; brilliant.

Fine examples of \"how to produce an inspiring miniature painting eye candy book\".
