Can i make money from ebay by selling painted mini\'s ?

I want to make some money on the side and get back into painiting. Can you make some extra cash by painting. I\'m thinking of setting up a whole Legion of the dammed sale.

Yes you can make money, how much you will make is the right question. Judging from the only picture you have posted on CMON, it will not be much right now. Don\'t get me wrong, I think your white ninja is nice and currently underrated, but there are lots of VERY good people selling stuff on eBay and it\'s a tough competition.
If your minis fetch around 6 on this site, you will probably not make much over the cost of the minis, the paints, the brushes, the eBay fees, ... It might still be a nice way to get a bit of money back from your hobby, but surely not worth the effort as a business. A good way to judge what you are worth is to look at the news, the auctions ending today section. Look at those that have the scores you are getting and watch actually have bids on them. When you see that This has no bids at 20 USD, you might want to think what the white ninja (comparable but imo slightly inferior) would fetch.

In the end, of course, just try it, you\'ll see. The investement is only a few minis and doing what you like (painting, I hope you like it :D)
Good luck

Unless you are one of the \'tops\' I doubt you\'ll be seeing any serious money any time soon.

If you want to just paint minis and sell them to keep the hobby going, then likely that will work out for you.

Myself, if I decide to sell my minis, its more out of just getting them out so I can buy some more and continue my hand at painting. I don\'t see it as a source of income, more of a source to keep the hobby going without too much more out of your pocket than your initial funds.

I\'ve sold about six on ebay and it probaly was\'nt worth it for the time spent but then again I expected that. I really only do it so I can paint up some minatures that I like to get in some practice. If you want to do it seriously you have to sell quite regulary and then you might get some regular customers. People are not always looking for amazingly painted minatures, some people just want some to game with. But when you first start selling dont expect amazing results its like any new buisness, you have to get a name for yourself. Check out my gallery to see how much the ones I sold went for.
