@Frustrated Father : No problem :). I PMed you for the financial details.

While I\'m at it, anybody else interested? (and I have no financial interest in Ilyad ;))

Cool! The emperor and the succubus..

Are there pics somewhere? I am a bit disapointed tho... no wings? Hmzz.

And I forgot to say that I also liked the wismerhil mini. freat detail and indeed great armor.

I haven\'t seen any pics of the new minis, but I suppose there must be some on a \"Retour des Dieux\" or \"Chronicles de la Lune Noire\" forum. I guess the succubus will be looking something as depicted here :

Call me obstinate if you will, but a succubus without wings aint a succubus to me!

It may be a good sculpt though... But without wings not a succubus.

I also like the Murata figure. A very good orienal samurai (fantasy) figure for general roleplay use.... The best one I know of actually.

Convert the wings from another mini or sculpt them ;).

Yeah, Murata is great. But all of Olivier Ledroit\'s designs are awesome in general ;).

I just came from another site to post about trying to get that Desdemone figure and found this thread, that is an amazing miniature that needs to be on my shelf as Red Sonja! Anyway, if the offer about buying them and shipping them to the USA still stands I might have to get in on that myself!

*Goes back to staring at picture of Desdemone and drooling...*

As long as we have the same deal as with Frustrated Father (you cover the minis + shipment) I have no problem at all sending the minis :). Just PM your orders and address when you want them.

@Nathan : I\'ll be getting that priest of light this morning (if they have it ;)).

Maybe they\'re just focalizing on the people who know the comic and so target the european market. Or else maybe they first want to raise their production capacities. It wouldn\'t do to start the US market and not be able to continue with the european one. In business, rule n°1 is to first keep your current clients happy, then try to get some others ;).

Actually I was thinking of the whole illyad game ranges, wich would include \"le retour des dieux\". Some amazing minis there too. And no comiques to know to play or paint them.
And not still beeing a high school student I\'ll trust you on the buisness side of things :p But I think they are pretty well knowed in France now and it would be cool if they got a bit more attention. Hop they\'ll get around to it :D

I believe Tracy from Tab Studios is trying to look into it - I\'m sure she would appreciate any info that ya\'ll can toss at her (I\'ve done what I could).

Me, I think they have some good stuff, but I\'m only interested in a few pieces myself, pretty much all the armored fellows don\'t \'do it\' for me but, to each his own.

Me, I\'ll settle on getting what I get this time around (and likely paying more than my wife would be happy with) and putting in another order in the future should Green Stuff be up for it and these turn out well enough.

Seriously excited about getting the male elf (I\'ve got a base figured out for him already) and the priest of light as I think those two are the neatest so far. The female elf I like as well and go for a \'pair\' with the male, but likely what I\'ll end up doing is painting them up for a competition here in March, try and win that $300 at the local store, and then send off for me.

:D

Anyhow, how many peices do these figures come in (the male elf for example)? Am I going to have to glue the bugger together left and right or is he all one bit (hope for the latter but assuming he\'s not). Also, the bases seem rather ... crummy to put it mildly. I\'ll be rebasing them of course, but please tell me they aren\'t all cast as one.

Are the figures tabbed or just cast as norm and you have to attach them yourself as you see fit (pinning or just gluing)?

Lastly ... I\'ve never worked on resin with a dremel before ... anyone have any hints with that? Same as pewter or more likely to go ape on you?

Arrfff, bad news, the store owner didn\'t get his order (it was a bit lost from what I understood). He should get it by Tuesday (shops are closed on Mondays in France). But by then I\'ll be in Montpellier (south of France). I\'ll check up there to see if they have any (there are quite a few shops there so I\'m confident).

As for your question Frustrated Father, each mini is cast with a base that\'s 1cmx2cm wich fits into a bigger base.

The male elf comes with:
1 body
1 right hand (with sword)
1 left hand (with sword)
1 dragon egg (you\'ll have to read the story one day to find out why he has it ;)), it\'s supposed to go in his back I think
1 base

The female elf comes with :
1 body
1 sword with 2 fore-arms
1 scabbard
1 base

I finally got my hands on the priest of light. He costs a little bit more than the first two (9€90), but he\'s exactly like the drawing and comes with a nice little scroll that has it\'s own base. The scroll is as if ignited and has a little fire elemental coming out.

@FF : I\'ll be sending them to you shortly.

@ Green Stuff ...

Oooh, ooooh ...

(clearing throat and putting a more manly spin on things)

Heh, thanks bro, I appreciate you taking the time and trouble. Send me a bill and I\'ll get the paypal off to you and I look forward to seeing the goodies.
