Don\'t know if it\'s already been posted. But it\'s finally up at GW Canadian website.

Nice going on the prices Angela! Especially with the Familiar! ;) lol (got me there! Just couldn\'t believe a small Familiar would ever win a price on it\'s own!)

Pretty effed up coverage. Vincent Hudon(Silphid) is said to be the painter of Jason Richards Battle Scene And the Slaanesh Champion on Bear in the WHFB Large Mini :duh:

Also looks like the Youngbloods there is 16 and younger ??? Owen you should\'ve gone ! :D

Well the coverage is messed, but I gotta say, in my very humble opinion, this is the best North American GD yet. The calibre of work overall in the major areas is stunning! The sword winner is sweet, as are Mr. Richard\'s entries...

Hats off to Angela and Gerry whom I know well, for their multiple and most deserved wins!!!

Thanks Glyn,

I know the qualitiy of all the figures I saw was excellent.

That and all the painters I met at GD and the folks my wife and I went to dinner with after GD were great.

It was nice to put real peoples faces behind the figures I see in my internet browsing.

Younbloods is 14 and under, otherwise I would have had the chance at entering.

Congrats to Vince on becoming the first ever Slayer Sword winner to be made into a Wallpaper. It will have its place on my desktop for at least a few weeks.

Dude, I wanted to go whether I could have entered youngbloods or not (which, by the way, I didn\'t really want to do; kinda cheating), but the plane tickets would have cost too much money. I might save up and see if I can go next year. :(

You would be a welcome addition Owen. Just do what the rest of us slightly overaged entrants do and give the people in the bigger catagories something to laugh at (\'sides from James and his little bronze statuette). In all honesty, you could probably get yourself at least an honorable mention. So save up and get yourself over here next year.

Holy crap!

Those photos are f$#%ing terrible!

:eek::mad::eek:

Did they use a flash??? For crissakes, it looks like we all glossed our figures.

GW should be ashamed of themselves for those crap photos. Gawds, it\'s embarrassing.

I\'ve got to agree with you there. As soon as I saw them I felt almost blinded compared to what they looked like in real life. Its surprising because even with the photos many are considering Canada as cream of the crop this year.

The pics aren\'t that great...

Vincent was kinda pissed about how \"all the shading disappeared.\". I have to say though, it looks stunning all the same, and I\'m currently using the desktop. I kinda expected less mistakes on the coverage when they had 10 days to get it right

An opening for somebody...?

Perhaps some one should complain to GW in writing and explain what was wrong, and how they could do better, for a small fee/free entry/etc:D

agreed

i must say, the models are definately overexposed compared to what i saw at games day. i\'m sure some of the people here on this forum can even pick up their models and compare with their computer screens. [congrats to you all]

well, i was glad i could see them in person, especially after cringing at a picture or two in the coverage.
