anyone know another place to get it in Toronto?

since FW suggests car primer for resin, I found that white brand. Also, I like it for models i care about. Seems to give a much nicer smoother surface than GW primer.

Hmnnn I didn't even reckon on using car primer for minis! That's actually a much sounder idea than testors or GW stuff!
While I don't know of anywhere you can get it in Canada, I shall thank you kindly for bringing this to my attentions! Even if I do feel like an eejit, being an ex mechanic *facepalm*

There's always Tamiya primer, alittle expensive but finish is great. Comes in white and light grey.

Try the BEHR primer at Home Depot. It's pretty darned good, IMHO. And comes in a few colours.

Surely there are some small auto places like we have over here Sanjay? The kind of shop that sells touch-up paint, hubcaps, wax, polish, screenwash etc.

Haha! I don't doubt it! Haven't been about a lot in the past couple 'o years due to duties etc. I'll be heading out to an auto store to check it out meself in the very near future methinks!

I've actually never seen the white primer at my local Canadian Tire. However, I'm almost positive the P3 Primer from privateer press is a rebranded Duplicolor and I can get the white P3 primer at my hobby shop for 9.99.

That's steep - a can of primer should cost around half that ideally.

Ultra Cover 2x (in white, black, grey or red) can be found for four bucks a can online and cases of six for only about ~$20!
