Hi everyone!

I'm back with a model i finished recently. This is Candy from Wyrd Miniatures. I was testing out top down lighting on the model as well as gloss VS matte areas, and on the base i was playing with oil washes and pigments. The base is 30mm across, so she is really small! C&C welcome.

Hi Turelio, sorry to be blunt here, but the eyes are very very wrong, the rest is okay, but eyes are so important, it ruins the whole thing.
Colors are nice, blending is getting there (Does need thinner pain tough), I quite like the floor.
Metallic on the scissor is another thing that really need improvement, but far behind these eyes.

Not so good one. I agree with GreenOne that the eyes are horrible. I think you also have to improve with the pink and white areas and with the metals. But I like the green areas, nicely painted.

i agree with the others but she is tiny. could be the varnish screwing with the eyes, it has done that with me before. just go over them to lighten the whites and darken the pupils

has she got cats eyes?. the colours fo the figure are great nice and bright.

how sweet i do look like she has cats eyes. and mouth too.

miss some shading, especially on the scissors, otherwise i think its a good job (understanding its a tiny mini)

Hi Turelio, sorry to be blunt here...

Blunt is good. I appreciate that someone is giving me feedback on what needs to be improved so that i can do a better job on the next model i paint. Thank you.

I will happily admit that the eyes are wrong, in real life they are like cats eyes as exilesjjb has said. I do need to work on my eyes a bit more to get them looking better.

Thank you for the comments everyone. It's great to get feedback like this. I'll definitly take it on board for when i finish the Kade and Padora models i am working on at the moment to go with Candy.

i have to say im no good at the eye's myself, if i saw someone with eye's like that coming at me with scissors i would leg it pretty sharpish lol pshyco kid, nice vivid paint tho:beerwave:
