No, I was trying to start out simple with a $400 unit that can do 30 micron, but we will see. My CAD skills have degraded significantly. I will probably start with Hingaverse files nd a few from Fat Dragon I have to start. Once I have a feel for the unit I will start digging into sculpting software. ...this could become another expensive hobby I don't have time for.
So true! start with printing what you can for experimentation, finding out the limits of the printer. If its not fun scrap it, its a hobby after all!
So I got a few minis to paint for others and Im enjoying this weekends paint fest, a little 3d modeling and started a base just because. . . I also caught up with idle.twitch[FONT="]

Also as soon as Harald arrived I cleaned him and washed and primed ans set up my light source, still deciding my triad of colours to aim, Im always a sucka for orange beards but was considering a different route(but will probably go orange. some good write ups on him http://figurementors.com/kit-review-harald-heroes-villains and Eurekaminiatures. Eurekaminiatures has a great amount of reading. As some may know I spend far to much time reading and not enough doing!
Happy painting!
