Water effects? What! Can't wait to see how that works.

This guy is going to be interesting. I want to revist some colored nmm pretty soon. I have the infinity yujing motorcycles in storage.

Any tips for doing the black lining? I always have trouble with that .

liner brushes & inks. They hold more in their bellies due to the length of the bristles.

Ooooooh. I have a liner brush my wonderful wife got me a few years ago. I thought it was useless. Have to break it out. I think it's a really nice one too. Thanks Zab.

*hugs Canny* Welcome back brother, life here on the forums was rough with out ya. Leaving me alone with people like Demi lurking around. Scary stuff my friend :p I love the guts you got on the demon dude and great start to both. Start feeding your kids some nightquil mixed with their food so you get more nap times from them ;)

A bit of work done on the axe while the little one was a sleep just started to do do the edge highlights and glaze afew little spots for extra impact still needs more but I like where its going. I used some of the emerald green on there which I will be using on the armor too.

Like where you are taking this one, don't forget to do nightlights the holes in the weapon also perhaps some more emerald green in there, but i guess that can wait until you done parts of the armor the be able to adjust the glazing more to the amour and the whole if needed.

Great job so far.

He's baaaaaaaaaaaaack. That looks like a really good start! Is this all airbrush? I feel like of all the GW pieces this is the one that I have to paint someday. I think the transitions on the axe could be more gradual, at least on the upper portion. Green guts? OOh wait.. BLUE guts right??

Airbrush to start and brush to contine, if you have watched Volomir's painting videos I just copied his steps. lay down some base tones and shadows/highlights and finish with brush, as Kretcher pointed still needs to be finished for the contrast pop. I think the color transtion is pretty good looks a lot darker on camera than IRL the brown seems to darken it more up top than on the lower part. Away for the weekend Weddings are good fun.

I used the same brown from the axe for the shadows, it was not enough so I used brown ink and red ink for the deepest shadows.
Pretty GW looking. I plan on adding a few extra details to the mask and boots I think the shoulder looks fine.
