She is PnP Morvahna the autumblade. I saw her on alex's wip last year, I got her then cos I thought she was cool now I got a reason to paint her :) so good having a stash of minis to choose from. I just saw another cool PnP mini on her wip too, the one thats got a cross bow and dagger leaping and his cloak is holding him up.

Oh, the ice base is looking good! I like the other one too. Obviously, over the top display bases are awesome, but those bases that are like display bases, but that could conceivably be used for gaming, I think are really cool and very true to the "artform"

Don't rush that water effect!

Yeah over the top gaming based tend to get you killed a lot due to LOS. That really doesn't matter though because looking good dying is always a moral victory and choking their guns with your dead is a viable tactic for horde type armies - it's also how Canadians fought most major battles in WWI unfortunately ;(

Shot a few finishing details of the base and mini finished I must borrow it to take some better shots.

Nice! Has a really cool old school feel to it with the white on the robe and the classic SENMM on the blade. Sweet work!

started painting the sword and suddenly thought " Not done that before" so I just went with it. the purple on the steps looks more powerful in RL . I think shes pretty dam good for the time spent.
My new mission is to paint 1 mini for each family Bday this year. Its a good goal as minis wont drag on and I have to finish them before each birthday. Next up is 26 March, I plan on a slightly modified version of AOW Orc Brute change his sword and de-clutter him a bit to add more painting surface.
