whats the best way to make rivets? Im working on some bases and want them to be simple so I can do some free hand on them but have a little interest?

drill bit and matching sized little beads. drill hole, pick up bead with super glue on toothpick, drop into hole. repeat again and again and again...

thanks Zab and Tero, while I was at work I had my thinking cap on too. might check the diameter of the ink tube of a pen it might work if I roll out some green stuff and use it as a punch too.

Just working on some bases for incoming Primaris, was thinking something along the lines of super easy to paint a few chips and free hand but also have a little height with some interesting bits. I can run some small wire here and there. I really like Arturs bases so something like that is what I'm thinking.

Well a long time ago, I raided my mums sewing kit and she had these little pins with tiny button heads. I cut the pin section off and used the heads as rivets... could probably find something like that still, a bit of an asy way out !!!

Looks like they will work out fine, a quick paint job. for the finals I figure I will have a few stripes and numbers on them too.
just need to come up with some more ideas.

A little more contrast but man, getting a nice glaze to black for a photo really is tricky to what you see in real life.

yeah man, good times. trying to do a little more evy metal look edge highlights next. I think I will turn the marine with the hand held thingy in to a space wolf with a flag. I have been scrolling though space wolf pics to turn in to a banner. won't be as good as Karols fists banner on FB but you gotta start somewhere.
