cant spray-basecoat fimo?

someone told me today that you cant use a spray basecoat (i use the GW black, then white on top of that) on fimo, after it\'s baked because it\'s going to react with the softeners in the fimo and get sticky...

any experiences with that...? since i just started to sculpt with fimo...

I don\'t know about the GW sprays specifically (paint or primer) but I\'ve seen lots of demos online where people prime their Fimo after baking.

It\'s a good idea to wash polymer clays after baking before you prime or paint because there can be a slightly slick surface residue, which I presume is the plasticiser or other additives having risen to the surface.
