Can't upload from my blog anymore?

Hello all,

First, I don't know if I post post this on the good forum, or if the question has already been asked. Sorry by advance.
I uploaded, few weeks ago, pics from my blog, just copying the picture link and paste the URL, then submit it.
But now it seems I can't do it anymore, it's saying "

Either the image does not exist or the external host is redirecting me. Sorry, I can't make a thumbnail! Perhaps you could​

upload the picture directly instead?"
Does anyone knows if it's normal or not? I've checked, and my pic is well uploaded on my blog.

I'm asking this because uploading pic of 1536 kb really affect it's quality, and I don't really know how to reduce the size of them without losing quality.

I'm sorry if all I'm saying isn't clear, english isn't my native language, and don't really know how to explain it. Tell me if I need to say it another way, to make sure you understand what I'm saying ^^

I guess that your blog provider has changed its permissions. Some providers disallow linking from their site, since it eats their bandwidth.

Generally speaking, you cannot reduce the size of a picture without losing some quality. Personally, I use Paint to reduce the size (the actual size, which also lessens the data size), and have never experienced any problem with the quality, but then again, I am crap at taking pictures and it was probably bad to begin with.
