Capt Spalding...

Has anybody heard from Capt Spalding (Seth) recently or have regular contact with him?

I paid him for two figures on 15th August (Liddell and Leben) and since then I have not heard anything from him.
It is now over a month and nothing heard despite sending him e-mails and I have also tried to PM him but had no reply...can anybody shed any help on this matter please?

I tried to order his latest modle no.8 a while back plus I also needed to talk to him about another matter but I also have not heard anything back form him.
I know that he was having troubles with his e-mails but what the situation is now I don\'t know.

When I e-mailed him tp place the order I got the impression his e-mail problem was sorted...that also shouldn\'t have stopped him answering PM\'s or checking paypal accounts.

Martyn. He\'s supposed to be at Euro with a stand under New Model Army, but I notice his figs are under a new banner on the CMON news page

Yes I noticed the new site/people selling his stufff and thought about contacting them but they say that his stuff was sculpted for them by him so is he really part of them???

I also noticed New model Army amongst the traders for Euro Militaire, (another reason for going) but I have also heard he is working fulll time for GW so with GD on Sunday will he be at Euro Militaire if this is true then chances are no.

Not sure what is going on.
When Seth first posted the sculpts they were for his own new range \"New Model Army\".
The MDC site has a casting service and I wonder if thats where Seth was getting the casting done and they bought the sculpts from him to sell as there own new range \"Grey Matter\". That would explain Seth not selling any more directly.

Puzzling it is.???

NSA yes I probably can issue a dispute with Paypal as it is less that 45 days but I want to give him a chance to respond to this first rather than hit him hard without talking first but that is my next step failing this.

i have also tried to get no. 8 but to no avail. i think there was a problem with paypal but haven\'t been able to get a reply

AFAIK

Seth is a great guy but has been known to \'drop out of circulation\' occasionally. A month is not an awfully long time in the world of sculpting and I would give him a bit of leeway before pulling the plug.

Yes I got that impression but if I leave it too long and still nothing happens I am out of pocket and can\'t do anything about it. Especially with going away again soon.

Well, if you are working to a deadline.....

You are probably screwed, but I would imagine they will be waiting for you on your return.

Thanks for that info I shall hold out a bit longer and see what happens.

In the mean time if anybody has contact with him I wouldn\'t mind a heads up from him :D

Yes 45 days see my post above :D but before I kill the guy like that I want to give him a chance. I know there are people on here that know him and see him from time to time hence the post.

To me a dispute with paypal is the last resort, some T*** did it to me last year claiming they hadn\'t receiveced an item I sold on Ebay he wouldn\'t answer any e-mails from me and it took 9 months before I got the use of my account back and despite providing proof of postage I still ended up having to give him a refund via paypal to be able to use my account again.
