Hi guys just got the game and don't understand how the car can move. Can it move unlimited ? The rules say nothing about how many zones u can move in a car.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Car can move up to two zones per Action spent, either forward or back (or both if you have a large group of zombies you wish to squash!).

Each zone it moves through, starts from or ends up in will affect zombies and survivors in those zones.

Edit: not sure which rulebook version you have but if the same as the V3 from website then on page 11 it has:

"The Survivor occupying the drivers seat can move the car one or two street zones per Action spent (cars cannot be driven into buildings"*

*some Scenarios have garages with double doors that allow cars in or out!

Ok I've just read the rules online and I'm confused again lol
It says..."The Sur- vivor occupying the driver’s seat can move the car one or two street Zones per Action spent (cars cannot be driven into buildings). This Action is not a Move and is not sub- ject to movement modifiers, such as a free Move Action or increased movement, nor is it affected by disadvantages related to Move Action"

So does driving a car take up 1 action or not coz it contradicts its self saying u can move 1-2 zones per action. Than says this move is not an action ?!

No, it says "This Action is not a Move". That is it is an "Action", but it is not a "Move Action". It's a "Drive Car Action". All it means is characters who have a skill like "+1 Free Move Action" can't used said "Free Move Action" to drive the car, nor does the driver need to spend extra actions to leave a zone containing Zombies (because that restriction only applies to a "Move Action").

Does that help?

Seeing this thread reminds me of when I argued GG should have included a sports car: 2-seater, but moves 3 zones per action (instead of 2 zones). A shame they never made any "new" vehicles for Prison Outbreak, not that I'm complaining about the re-skins, those are still nice to have.

They're not just re-skins! They are new cars.

From Page 21 of the PO rulebook:

CAR SUBSTITUTION
You may want to substitute some cars for others to add flavor to your games, suit you play style, or try older missions again . Note that these substitutions work both ways.
• Police cars can be replaced by taxis .
• Pimpmobiles can be replaced by hippiemobiles or muscle cars

POLICE CARS
You can Search police cars more than once per game . Draw cards until you find a weapon . Discard the other cards . The Aaahh! card triggers the appearance of a Walker as usual and interrupts the Search .

PIMPMOBILE
You can Search a pimpmobile only once per game . It contains a Gunblade . Unless the Mission states otherwise, feel free to add any pimpmobile weapon you might own from other Zombicide games or expansions (the Evil Twins, Ma’s Shotgun, Pa’s Pistol, etc .) and draw one of them randomly . Some Missions may contain many pimpmobiles . In this case, only the weapons that have not yet been taken can be inside them . When there are no more . . .there are no more .

HIPPIEMOBILE
• Hippiemobiles can be Searched in the same way as pimpmobiles .
• Ignore car attacks made by hippiemobiles . They are harmless .

MUSCLE CAR
• Muscle cars can’t be Searched .
• Muscle cars can move up to 3 Zones instead of 2 when driven .

TAXI
You can Search taxis more than once per game . They are Searched just like a building Zone but Flashlight cards have no effect . The Aaahh! card triggers the appearance of a Walker as usual and interrupts the Search .

Let me see... I must have missed that because I glanced over at my couch and see the rulebook open on page 24. I'll obviously take your word for it. :)

Now we just need vehicles that seat 6 survivors. ;)
