Cardiff/S. Wales painters get together

OK last year it was mentioned about having a get together to show off mini\'s and share painting tips/techniques, several people were interested but nothing was ever made of it.

So how about another go at arranging this?

Tim is interested as he has already mentioned about nobody in the area to share this, so who else is interested, Reverend, Talion???

I have a 5ft pine table in the dinning room/kitchen and can provide lamps for those interested using my home as a starter. Max six bring your own brushes.

Easy to find not far off the motorway but unfortunately Reverand it will be a bring the beer with you as the pub is about 15 minutes away although would probably make a good interval/break from painting :D

Who is interested and what day would be suitable?

Personally I would prefer the weekend. :D

sounds great but im probaly wont be able to take part as im only 15 and my mum & dad can be very over protective. i\'ll will try and convince them lol

That would be the same problem with me + I\'m even younger(13) + You probably wouldn\'t want me + Its rather far 1 1/2 - 2 hours

B.t.w bringing beer/alcohol wouldn\'t be a problem for me :innocent::rolleyes::D Advantages of having an older brother:cool:

I, why not.........good to put some faces to names.

I\'m free most weekends so, name a time, and I\'ll see what i can do.

I could bring booze, grub, naked dancing girls whatever......but being such a light weight when it comes to drink, I\'d either be on the Shandy\'s or Coke.

Hmm, given the way this thread is going I think it best to stick a minimum age limit on it.

18 I think should do it that way if we do vist the local ale house everybody is within the law :D

How about this Saturday or Sunday?

Saturday would be a better day for me as I have a long drive come Sunday night.

Do we want an all day session or just a couple of hours???

Geez Louise man......quick on the draw

Possibly do this Saturday, won\'t know though until tomorrow or Wednesday.

A week Saturday\'s off.......any time after that though is currently free.

I dunno about time wise should we start off with a couple of hours in case we hate eachother in real life, and start poking eachothers eyes out with brushes. Unless you lot have already met, in which you just might all start poking my eyes out with brushes.

A week Saturday is out of the question as I am up at Salute then to meet up with Dragonsreach again and a few of the others.

Dates after that are unknown at the moment until I go back and check the duty rosters to find out what weekends I am required to work.

Time wise I think is up to everybody else stay as long as you want 3 hours or 6 with a pub break I don\'t mind.

Quite a few people on the sight have already met up with me at the various shows so can vouch I have a querky sense of humour but other than that I am normal.

Reverend you had better hope that bed arrives early :D

Living over by Mark (Griffin/Harbringer) I\'ll PM you you my address later if you are interested in popping over some time during the day dependant on bed of course. :D

Haven\'t heard anything from the Newport lads, they seem very quiet at the moment???

Tim, Reverend and Talion I have PM\'d you my address, still not sure what to turn it into but open to ideas from 10am to 4pm turn up as and when you are able, paint or just chat and exchange ideas??? or all three. :)

So if a short darked headed guy with a hump and club foot comes knocking on your door..........send him away he\'s obvouisly some kind of freak.
