Carnifex Help

Hi, I made my first post of a mini on here with my Carnifex that I painted in a couple of hours for my nephew. I had not completed the base or painted the eyes when the pictures were taken, I know that.. :D But I am really looking for some tips or comments on what else I could have done.

Carnifex in 3 Hours

Any comments at all would be really helpful, thanks in advance.

Finish the base and paint the eyes :D;)
Actually, it looks pretty good for a \"couple hour\" paint job. I like the way the \"shell\" came out. You could\'ve upped the contrast some. In other words, push the highlights and shadows farther. The would be the main suggestion I\'d have for it.
Well, I suppose you could\'ve done a freehand of the Sistine Chapel ceiling on the back, but... ;)

Welcome to the forums. :D

[EDIT] Hey! Look at that! I actually had the same idea as someone who can actually paint well!!!

If you are only wanting to spend 3 hours on a mini this size I don\'t think there is much more you could do. Maybe try the infamous dipping method?

carnifex looks good for the ammount of time you put into it! personaly i think the dipping method is nice and all... but it doesnt really take skill therefore i stay away from it.. onlything i dont really like about your carnifex is the metallics but even then it all blends in together so i say kudos and a job well done!
