cartoon like orc

Can some one give me some tips on how to paint cartoon like orc flesh as I\'m trying to make my 2007 games day orc look cartoonish

Keep the shading quite simple - don\'t use streaking or what have you to simulate muscles or whatever, and use brighter greens rather than darker ones...

That\'s as best I can advise... I\'m not that good with orks...

for a cartoony look, use bright colours and high contrast.

Use colors - dark blue, dark brown etc... for shading, not black.

Have a look at Severatus\' gallery, he has an exemplary cartoony style. He has a an orc or two in his gallery as well.

ok so start with dark colors (not black) highlight with really bright greens
i will give it ago
the orcs in these drawings are the type of style I\'m trying to go for

If at all possible, try to make the eyes and especially the pupils large.

thanks i know i could count on you lot to give me a hand i will try and do a half good attempt at this and get up some photos for comment/criticisms

exagerrate the features .. As Shawn says bright eyes and mouths really help... Pulled off right they\'ll look cool but be warned there is a very fine line between cartoon and Basic paint job....
