When I was a kid I loved stuff like Top Cat, Battle of the Planets, Hong Kong Phooey, Jason and the Monster Minds (is that the right title?), and all sorts of shit really.

all of the old soviet animation Margo mentioned.

you actually know that? I had no idea those cartoons were shown anywhere outside the Soviet Union or, well, some parts of Eastern Europe, perhaps.

State TV broadcasted a lot of those, my favorites being the Snow Princess a,d another with a Blue Prince in it (can\'t remember the name).

I couldn\'t have read this on a better day

I work with kids and today some of my coworkers decided to do a family fued style skit, on peoples favorite cartoons.

Heres teh kicker. THEY INTERVIEWED ADULTS< NOT THE KIDS!

So all the answers were from the 80s like smurfs and inspector gadget (except spongebob) and all the kids were confused about what cartoons these were.

I\'m a little miffed becuase they cut out my answer...Samurai Jack

Anyway....most of my favorites have allready been listed....

That\'s right Steelcult!! It was on the Banana Splits show! I since found out it was called the New Adventures of Huck Finn.

Yes - Speed Racer I forgot all about that much beloved show ...

dear god the nostalgia....

strangely enough, no one seems remembers dragon warriors. aside from the Maximillian Sterling vs. Miriya battle scenes and Corg vs Scott Bernard battle from Genesis Climber Mospeda, this was the best animated battle scene i remember watching as a kid.....

It\'s really amazing how many of the cartoons that you watched religiously you forget about until someone else brings them up.

Inspector gadget. How could I have forgotten this. (Oh yeah, now I remember. They made that effing terrible movie.) Now the whole day I am going to be humming the theme tune. There goes my productivity.

What about Bionic Six?

I watched them mostly because the dubbing was awesome. Whoever in charge of localization for that show really knew what he was doing. lol
