Ok..here\'s some info
i spoke with the fraud/authorization consultant/specialist in my area....
He said USA regulations are different than Visa Canada.
In Usa, for any credit card, even if it\'s a customer mistake (ie. you sign up for a contract, etc)...if you dispute it OR call the bank/card issuer to tell them you made an error, if it\'s a recurring charge (ie. monthly), you will still be charged the first one or 2 charges, but after that, the company doing the charges to a credit card, are legally responsible to stop them.
If they do not OR if the card issuer does not help you, you can email/call Visa USA/Mastercard USA themselves, and they will take it up with the card issuer/merchant.
He said that places like capital one, mbna that are not major banks, still have to follow the same rules via Visa/MasterCard/Amex, etc so this process is still valid...
