Here are three more of my entries for GD UK next week.

Celeborn:

The most recently started. Got him off .Sam. about two weeks ago when i stayed at his for the weekend. Painted the majority in an evening session, then tightened everything up over a few sessions. He was great fun (except the bloody eyes...).


Tau Firewarrior:

Started him the week after platoon britannica\'s summer event after James (cybersquig) told me to pick something and spent ages getting it right lol. He was a bit stressful at times and there was lots of learning involved, but he was great fun in the end.


Artemis.

Started this guy ages ago.. spent a while on building a prepping, then ended up painting most of him over two days :D
I learnt lots and would probs do quite a lot differnt now :). Thanks go to matt Cexwish, Crazyboi, Cybersquig, Tidico(sp?) and lots of other crazy people :D

The Fire Warrior is hands down the best thing I\'ve ever seen you do, and the best bet for you I think. I am not super sold on the black lining under Celeborns eyes though.

LOVE that fire warrior. Great base as well!

Artemis face is out of this world must say rest of figure does not live up to that but they all look good.
BTW how you enjoying your job?

some slang has really become absurd now, i mean, how on earth does \"let\'s skank\" mean \"let\'s dance?lol

also, awesome model\'s alex, the firewarrior reminds me of predator

I fail to see how skank has recently become a term used for dancing..

The definition of skank

There are several definitions of Skank

1) To skank-verb-A dance to be performed ONLY to ska, usually involving kicking your legs, and moving your arms


1. ska

Three different types: \"Traditional\", \"2-Tone\" and \"3rd Wave\". Traditional came about in the late 1950s as new dance music straight out of Jamaica. 2-Tone is named such because whites and blacks came together to form ska bands to spread unity in the 1970s. 3rd Wave is when ska hit America in the late 1980s, and added a bit of punk flair.

Also a very flexible style of music, incorporateable into other styles, which is why it\'s still around today and has such a large and diverse fan base.
