okay, now I have fixed some minor points of the mini, so now I do a repost!

I\'m very nervous of what you think of the freehand on the back.. my oppnion is that it might need some small fixing...

Okily dokily. It\'s very good overall but there are a couple of things. There appears to be a highlight next to his left eye, which at least in tone is very similar to the eye ball. It makes the eye look a little odd. If I cover that highlight with the mouse cursor the eye looks good. The freehand could maybe do with a little tidying up, though of course we are viewing it at several times it\'s actual size. It doesn\'t appear to be symmetrical (don\'t know if you want it to be or not). As I said before, I love the colours. The subdued greens are very nice and the highlighting on the hair is excellent. He must be using conditioner.

Great work Larre, the freehand looks pretty damn good to me. The judges will love that! Like Mr. Bunting said, the bit above the eye looks weird, and also I think there\'s something funny under the nose... but the pic is huge, and probably shows up loads of stuff that you couldn\'t really appreciate IRl. Voted and commented, I love the colours too

the eye issue... I don\'t think it\'s vissable on the mini IRL, as I said.. the mini is 28 mm, and the eyes are such a small part of the mini and it\'s barely even noticable.
however... the upper lip is the one single part of the mini that I forgot to fix (I can tell you that you barely see that either... if you don\'t look for it)

it\'s really hard to do a perfectly symetric pattern... and trust me on this.. it\'s REALLy hard!

With the pics so big they look blurry. The hair and free hand look like the strongest parts - the face possibly the weakest, but its a little hard to tell. I do think you have a great sense of light and shadow, however, that is one thing that is easy to see from the pictures.
