Celebrity Is As Celebrity Does (meeting famous people)

Apologies if this has been covered - (I remember a claim to fame thread a while ago)
Anyway, I digress. I\'m not normally one for the \'cult of celebrity\', ordinary people, yada yada, no different to you and me yada yada, but I was kind of pleased to meet Joe Calzaghe on Saturday and find out he was just an ordinary guy.

I know this name probably means nothing to 90% of you so briefly, he\'s the WBO super-middleweight champion of the world, undefeated in 40 fights with 31 KO\'s. He\'s shortly fighting a unification bout of sorts with Jeff Lacy early next year.

Not much I know but for a rabid boxing fan it was quite special.

Anyone for anyone? (and meeting Jakob Nielsen or Tammy Haye doesn\'t count :D )

I sat next to the guy who played faramir in LOTRs. I work in Longreach (middle of the bush) and he was doing and Australian outback movie. Guy pierce and the nerd from Larra croft movies was on the plain as well. Only time I didnt have a white dwarf on me so he could sign it. Oh well.

Yep, that\'s a situation where you\'ve just got to bite the bullet... unless of course, your Uncle is Lennox Lewis lol

Hmm, come to think of it, he was with a woman on Saturday... I wonder...

If God and Lemmy got in a fight who would win?

I met Zakk Wylde, guitarist for Ozzy, when I was 17 on the second BLS tour. Our tickets said it was an all age show, and the club said they were misprinted. We actually watched Zakks wife bitch the club owner out and threaten that he would not go on unless we got in. Needless to say, they accomodated us 10 kids.

No need for a fight if my old ladie was caught messing around with me... just two bullets and a shovel. i kedd, i kedd lol

i met Quentin Tarantino at LAX... he\'d just got off a plane from Paris (was there to pick up my sister). Anywho, i ran over to him and asked him what happened to Mister Pink. He said he got caught by the police and the diamonds were returned... but he was the only one to live. Next time i meet him, i\'ll ask what\'s in the breifcase in Pulp Fiction ;) lol

Met:
Winona Ryder - Viper Room in LA, total bitch.
Snoop Dog - Long Beach, in a Denny\'s, pretty cool.
Trent Reznor - New Orleans, House of Blues, a lot dorkier than I expected
Spin Doctors - Tiajuana, they were lost, so we took them to the club they were playing at and partied with them afterwards.
Glen Danzig- Long Beach, After a concert, nice guy.
Chevy Chase - Baton Rouge, during Fletch Lives, really nice guy.
Ray Bradbury - Santa Barbara, during a book signing, I was 21 at the time and he was surprised that someone as young as I had read most of his work.

I\'d like to meet:
Stevie Nicks 30 years younger.
