Celestine chrome wip

Its me again after some feedback on my attempt at Celestine.Firstly I have to say this is the finest mini I have worked on to date.
Im happy with the gold nmm and the skins ,but Im after feedback on the chrome sword and \"halo\" as they are new colours for me.Im thinking the halo is fine but the sword earth colour is too close to the armour.I might go for greys instead to match the base.

The armour is gorgeous and I think the halo is right on. I also think your right on the sword. The current colors are a little to gold/brown. After all, if it\'s reflecting the ground, it should be a similar color to the earth on the base and for the finishing touch, make sure it reflects a little bit of the flowers hanging from the hilt as well. Maybe it already does, but its too hard to tell in this size picture.

The flower reflection is in mind for finishing touches as is the cherubs on the cloak(not in pic).
The wall rubble on the base will be greys so Im gonna do the sword greys too.Dont know why I didnt do that first.

One other thing.That is her discarded helmet on the floor ,isnt it?

I would think the sword might be reflecting a bit of her armour depending on which way the light was coming from...but maybe thats just me...It looks aweaome so far and I do think the helmet is hers or maybe another sister\'s, but it\'s definately a SoB\'s.

Nice work! I think it\'s a good idea to change the sword, it\'s definately too similar to the armour. Yeah, that is a SoB helmet.

Im trying to ease myself into a style between realistic GW style and cartoony nmm senmm style.I like doing nmm and chrome but some minis while looking great tend to be too cartoony for me.
Any way thats what Im after.

Well for any interested heres a new pic.I know its dark but it is wip.Not too much left to do.Base is to paint up and the little guys holding the cape are to finish off.
Oh and some details on the robes and purity seals etc.Its mainly to show the updated chrome on the sword.

The sword is really well done, but seems to be missing something to me towards the point. I\'m not sure what it is, whether the chrome colourss should be extending ever so slightly further or what? (Of course I may be talking out of my bum here). Its just the point of the sword looks a little non - shiny to me if you see what i mean.

Looks great, sword is fine for me, it looks a little uneven in bits, but I think thats actually more realistic, if you look at real reflections in metal they are like that. I like that you\'ve got a red reflection near the hilt, nice attention to detail.
