There isn\'t enough yellow in it now. It just looks like bone not gold, you need more midtones and less surface area of the highlights.

It does look a LOT better, but still not quite right.
Luckily I walked this path before lol. I know how this can be fixed!
I did exactly the same thing, ending up with a bone colour, what you want to do is add a very (I mean VERY) thin glaze of golden yellow to it.
If its still not quite right do the same thing again after it\'s dried.
I learnt this neat trick off Orb lol

dude, that is a LOT better. could still do with being smoother in places but you seem to have the colours right

the blending could be smoother at some places, but I actully think it looks rather convincing

thought i\'d best give you an update, so here it is. slowly making some progress but i need to get a move on, she\'s got to be finished by the end of the month for the rogue-painters comp.
