This is a model I\'m working on for the Single Figure catagory at Gen Con. They have a Manufacturer Award this year for Pulp Figures, so I\'m working on this lady from Cobblestone. The first pix are from 7/7/2007.

Basing ideas

Yes. I have a flat, sculpted sheet that is used for putting texture on a surface. I\'m thinking of using that to make a \"carpet\" that the model will stand on.

Update from 7/21 and a cat

These are some updates from 7/21. The biggest change was additional highlighting on the stockings and some work on the hair. I highlighted with RMS Linen White and the used a wash of RMS Palimino Gold and VGC Sepia Ink to blend the layers.

I\'m also working on a little cat that will be added to the finished base for the figure:

I thought the cat\'s pose would add to the feeling in the mini or an impending danger.

I think her stockings could use more of a sheer effect. There is a great tutorial on sheer effects in the Article section of CMON.

Seems odd to be posting a contest entry before the contest though.
