Though I don\'t make it in there often, I noticed a local store was also discounting their chainmail as much as 75%
Star Wars was down 50%
I\'d be happy to look for certain pieces, but remember the stuff that is there is the stuff that didn\'t sell well to begin with.

At the sort of local WOTC store around me, I\'ve seen their Chainmail already down to 50 percent off, and that was before X-Mas. Seeing as how I have the only miniature from the line I like, I won\'t be buying any more. Although its sort of a shame they were discouraged so easily. It seems that unless a miniature company can make a huge impact quickly they pull up stakes and try something new. GW stuck it out for a number of less-than-profitable years before hitting it bit in the 1990\'s. If more companies would realize that, perhaps GW would have some decent competition as far as distribution, availablity, and alternatives to SF and fantasy wargaming.

50% off? That\'s nothing. Just before year end I picked up the gnoll ranger and the half orc fighter for $1.00 a piece. Most of the stuff was only 20% off, but they were killing off some overstocks and I couldn\'t resist.
