Came out really nice! I really like how the feathers and the bird on the staff came out too. It is exactly what I had in mind. and it totally gives it that Tzeentch scream. Great Job overall. The NMM looks fantastic too! Great Job! The base, very simple and may I add, perfect for this mini... I like the butterfly colors too but I think you could load them up a bit more IMO, maybe some more detailed freehand on them some stripes or something since they look a bit plain, maybe some of those round spots you see on most butterflies... Your best work so far! I like how you stepped out of your comfort zone and played with some colors and BAM! you got a nice mini. Also the face looks nice but lacks contrast IMO, you could have also done some shading wih greens or oranges to break up the tones and give it more depth and contrast while keeping it from looking just like the NMM or disappearing with all the NMM.

Dont let these comments drag you down, just keep them in mind for your next mini, that\'s what I do with most of mine, if it is too late to fix it, I just wait till my next one and apply it then, ussualy works better that way.

PLease post some close-ups at least here on this thread, I really want to see it up close. Voted and commented too!:drunk:

Very nice. The only issue I can see is a balance one with the butterflies. There is no other green on the mini to balance the green on thier wings out. Perhaps if the glowing vile was a brighter shade of that same green to give some lateral balance. As others have said, the face seems bland, but only compaired to the rest of the mini.

You got an intersting effect with the cloak, it reminds me of some of that polychromatic paint.

maybe i should try painting a chaos champion... not Tzeench though. maybe khorne. the blues and staff is gorgeus, and the butterflies work surprisingly well. The only thing that lets it down a tiny, tiny amount is the skin. Try using lighter colours. overall though, awesome!:D

wow, looks great. beautiful multitonal blues. the only thing i dont like are the yellows and reads; they seem flat, though they are blended well.

love the nmm what colours did you use???

I agree on the green with the butterflies not totally balanced with a green on the mini itself.
as it stands at the moment they attract your eye straight away but mainly because they look slightly out of place ..maybe the butterflies would look better in the blue purple colour,..
A bit of variation in colour towards the front of the face to define the Beak area more would go a long way to livening up the face.....
overall cracking looking model.. will have to have a go at that butterfly thing myself...

Hard one to vote on. Couldnt decide on 7 or 8 so voted a 7.5. I like the paint job and color scheme I just think the base is a little plain. The butterflies are a nice touch.
