Ref ruined what was shaping up to be an awesome match by sending Lehman off.

Almunia should receive his P45 tomorrow for letting in a goal at his near post and one through his legs.

Ronaldinho spent most of the game diving - it was Eto\'o who won it.

Oh well. Let\'s hope Henry stays put and doesn\'t do a flit to Barcelona. They really would be unstoppable then.

Totally agree, the referee ruined the game with his idiotic and crazy decisions, it made me quite angry I also thought that the football didn\'t live up to the hype - Henry and Ronaldinho did not feature much, Eto\'o was much more influential. Lehmann\'s sending off, although a correct decision, unfortunately ruined the match, it was shaping up to be great...

I missed the sending off and no-one seems to know what happened. Can any of you give me a brief summary.

Otherwise, good game, pity Arsenal couldn\'t hold out, although I think if it went to Extra time they would have lost anyway.

Eto\'o through on goal, Lehmann on the edge of the box, Eto\'o knocks the ball past him and Lehmann grabs his ankle as he runs past and pulls him down.

Definite sending off, BUT the ball ended up in the net. Barca had a goal lead - he could have yellowed him and carried on with 22 men on the pitch. That would have made for an awesome game.

But then by all accounts the ref was a complete tonker anyway.

It was sizing up to be a cracker. Henry in the fist 15 mins looked like he was on fire. Then the game went backwards. The ref should definitely have gone through the advantage route and left Lehmann on. Silly, silly man. However, up until the 76th minute, it actually looked like Aresnal were going to hang on in there with the 1-0. Henry is a bad loser though - did you see the after-match interview?

No I turned it off in disgust, Henry looked knackered for some reason, just when he was taking a corner he was hunched down and sucking air from Dover, didnt seem in the best of form to me. Did very well to fend them of for so long though, oh well next year will be better, I hope.

I just hope Henry gets over his self-love and puts the fans and the club first by making a decision on next season immediately. I hate it when players refuse to commit. He\'s been looked after incredibly well by Wenger. He owes the guru!

I\'d echo the fact Eto\'o played very well yesterday. He plays so upright and with huge strength and skill. The guy is scary.

An extremely good player, he seems like a really genuine, hard working fellow as well. Deservedly got MOTM.

Henry was a petulant little bleeder after the game. Wenger is on a whining mission too. Muppet. The zonal defense he played was always going to leak a goal sooner or later. Arsenal left both wings unattended almost the whole of the game and it ended up costing them.

Henry owes Arsenal absolutely nothing. He\'s been marvellous for both them and the Premiership in general. Self love? I have never seen a more team-centred player besides being a marvellous, eloquent ambassador for the game.

Of course he was pissed off post-game - he\'d just lost the biggest domestic club competition after being kicked up and down the field, especially when it looked like they were going to hang on.
If I lose a game of five-a-side with the lads at work I can barely bring myself to shake hands and only calm down about an hour later when I return to being my usual sweetness and light - I\'m like bloody Jekyll and Hyde lol

If he had decided to leave (and it looks as if as of today that he\'s staying) I think the majority of Arsenal fans would have sent him on his way with regret obviously, but with good grace and nothing other than gratitude for all the pleasure he\'s brought.

Possibly... unfortunately, he was right about the ref.... he completely marred what would and should have been a much better game.

I\'m really glad Henry is staying with Arsenal, he\'s a great player and seems a very likeable bloke too.
