Greetings

Here are some wip pics of my dragons wing and the display base.
Tried to get the feeling that it has just leaved the warp and \"mutates\" to one of the four gods.
I think a dragon is \"sucked\" up by the warp when it dies and the warp re-lives it and spit them out where they are most needed! :flame:

Hope you enjoy it.

Hi and welcome to the forums! That dragon\'s wing looks really promising so far. Keep up the work and don\'t hesitate to put up more WIPs here. We\'re incredibly interested in all things considering minis, you know! :)

I like the color but wonder the color of the dragon body to be sure.
Cool stuff and BTW I can not read the news paper under it :D

Oooo, this is really cool. Great job on the base, for starters. I like the technique you are using so far, painting the base colors and spraying over it (airbrush right?). I will offer a critique, although I don\'t know if it\'s valid. It looks like when you sprayed the green over the basecoat, you got too close and there are some dots. I think smoother airbrushing would be better, I assume by backing it up and moving back and forth more (I\'ve never used one so forgive me if that\'s wrong). Other than that, I love the technique and the color you are achieving.

I don\'t know which one i preferr, they are both really good :D, it really depends how you are going to paint the rest of the mini, i guess.

It\'s no wonder Tony liked the first pics. Blue and Purple!!lol

But I do agree with him. With the yellow it almost looks like a Camo Dragon.

I will join the crowd on this one. I agree the first wing pic is the best, but the yellow doesnt do it for me. But still very cool.

Awsome! I love that. Did you do it with an airbrush. My buddies been painting with an airbrush lately and i\'ve been thinking i need to get one. It would help with my tzeentch deamons too!

You have sure right;) I got too close on some parts and it leaved thos ugly spots.

But on the green part, im thinking about re-do it and not so much green just by the nanoskeleton(or whatever the name is lol), tryo to smoothen the color out instead.

And yes its totaly done with airbrush

Tahanks people for the C&C it is very welcomed:)

I like both effects, but not together. The blue/purple look was very Tzeentch, if you had stuck with that and carried it through to the rest of the model you would have had a very interesting and colourful piece.

Having said that, I like the way the green works with the blue and purple underneath. Makes him look more nurgley, bruised and diseased. Very Rackham, the way you have used a variety of colours. With the overall sculpt of the dragon, having eyes, mouths etc everywhere, I think the green over the blue/purple base will work out nicely, as long as you continue this effect over the whole model. It will give him a much darker, icky look, which I feel will better suit the overall sculpt.

But then, what do I know about dragons eh?! ;)

Kat
