Great Mini from GW, gone for the nmm on this and a really cold looking bas with the molten plastic skin burning arghh the pain but ooooh looks good icicles:doctor:

Lovely work. The base, although beautifully done, is too big for my liking though. Love the snow on the ground below

I'm going to a harsh critic here Andy, but I hope not rude.
The figure is good, very clean, very cold greys, excellent free hand work, but to me lost in balance against the base.

You've a base which looks 4/5ths of the whole thing and dilutes how good the remaining 1/5th (the figure) is.
Add to that a marked difference between the green and the grey and no continuation/reflection/echo of colour in either area doesn't give me the AndyG "Oh Yeah" factor when I'm looking at it.
I also have to say the central icicle is eye catching as it looks stuck on and unconnected to the snow.

I'm not going to go vote and stuff up your scores, but I'd have to give you a 9+ for the figure, 7 for the base.

No i don't mind at all mike I'd rather have your honest opinion otherwise how do I improve eh? With the base it was an experiment and no it didn't go as planned but you've got to do these things to learn.
