Chaos Lord On Dragon

Hi everybody.

thought I should start a work in progress for my latest work.

I'm a bit lazy on the actual painting but anyhow..

This looks excellent, the dragon skin looks very smooth and the shield is plain awesome. I al wondering though if this kind of swampy green is the fitting color for a dragon, I mean this clearly isn´t going to be nurgle and I am just wandering how it´s going to look in the end. Or is this type of green on of your army colors?

Well, I have a wide range of colors in my units, for example i have a khornate warriorregiment that is mostly red, and a undivided one that is almost completely brass / brown to the coloring.

I was thinking that this muted greyish green seemed natural to a reptillian dragon/lizard coloring

Was thinking to aply the green on every part of the skin/scales/whatnot except for the wing membranes, on that matter I'm still open for suggestions!

i reckon the green will be fine with the other mental colours mixed in. i think this will be one to watch!

Nobody having thought on the wing membranes? totally lost on the coloring there.... also green? with a stronger yellow tone in it?

I'd paint the membranes in a colour a bit brighter than the rest. You can add some yellow if you want them to be warmer than the skin. You also can paint them the same as the skin.

I like it man, thats some really nice coloring. Keep up the color, i think it works great.
