Awesome mini. Again, the high contrast on the skin is really nice with the high contrast on the NMM. How did you distress your display cube? I use a dremmel and efw bit and burn it with high speed gouges. You looks like it was cooked with fire :tongue:

Zab bought it as is, it's an off cut with a big old knot in the wood and then just stained and varnished up.

Great work! :) I love the high contrasts on this mini, the NMM looks also very cool. Overall choise of color is very nice too. The color transitions need some work though. Try to water down your colors a bit more and paint some more layers. Then blend the transitions with some mid-tone glazes to bring the layers together, as I mentioned in the WIP. :)

Cheers crackpot I will do as you suggest and take time over the layering. I suppose impatience is my greatest enemy here well no more quick and sloppy from now on :good:
